Rapids vs. Everton

It happens not every day that a Primer League team from England like Everton is playing the Rapids here in Colorado. And as it finally cooled down a bit it was the perfect time for watching some good old football... ehem... soccer I mean.


And what goes better with watching sports then having some cheese nachos and a beer? What was missing from a perfect day was the Rapids winning. And they were fighting well, unfortunately they lost a unlucky 1:2 to Everton. Yet I have to see the Rapids winning :o)

Another unfortunate thing is that the Rapids seem to have fired their Cheerleaders. To make up for that they increased their number of mascots by the factor of four!

At the last match I saw they just retired their old mascot 'Rapidman' and replaced him by the eagle 'Eaton'. A few months later he is accompanied by a bull, a fox and a racoon. Its getting busy on the pitch ;-)

Fingers crossed for the next match of the Rapids! With that many mascot it can't go wrong anymore I would think.
